Welcome To BIG RUBBERS

"BIG RUBBERS" actually means big tires for those of you with your minds in the gutter. 

We are a Non-Profit Organization headquartered in Windber, PA. We are a family orientated club dedicated to increasing members' knowledge of safe and fun four wheeling. We welcome members of any driving ability, all we require is following all safety rules and bringing the right attitude to the trail.  The most important thing is that everyone HAS FUN! Our on-trail rules are basically to use common sense.  We try to follow "Tread Lightly" as much as possible.  Remember, our favorite trails we maybe sharing with hikers, hunters, ATV riders, etc., and should be treated as such.  Do not blaze a new trail to avoid an obstacle, or for any reason. We always try to pack out more than we pack in with us.

Our club is comprised of 3 divisions:

     1. The Tour team (show & shine)

     2. The Off-Road team (anything that has to do with off roading)

     3. The ATV team (if ya just want to get out and ride your quad along with us) 

Throughout the year our members compete in various show & shine competitions, off road competitions, and just general trail rides all over the state. We have a wide variety of vehicles and individuals whom represent the club in a positive manner.

It all started as an off-road club by a bunch of guys in the Air Force in 1996. The club was formed primarily for Air Force Personell only, but when i got out i saw an opprotunity to benefit the community and all 4x4 enthuiests by making the club open to the public. 

We have grown to all be good friends over a wide-spread area. We love our 4x4 vehicles. All members have a willingness to help other 4x4 enthusiests with their vehicles & always represent the club in a positive manner!

We are hoping to be hosting an Off-Road event this year 2007. details at a later date.
